Man... some folks have great taste in bikes....

Nice Stable Mate...

If I didn't already have the 916 then I'd have this one. In fact I think I was a bit hasty with the 916. It was a spur of the moment comment about that bike that got this list started before I had given it much thought.

This would easily make my top 5 all time list.  The other four might get interesting though.  Hey I think I have my theme for the week!  Top 5 all time production favorites.  We'll call this first of the five.  I'll just do them as a group without a particular ranking.  My mood changes too much anyway.

Aaron sent me a nice silhouette shot of his stable the other day along with a link to his flickr stream.  While perusing his photos I stumbled across this stunner of a custom Triumph Scrambler.  WOW!  Aaron I hope you don't mind (and if you do I'll pull them immediately) but I'm a huge Triumph fan and couldn't pass these up.

By the way your original submital is excellent and included below. I'd love to see more angles of the Duck and especially Beemer.

Thanks Very Much

Aarons original note:
Hey!
I got a bit inspired on Sunday and had some fun with my DSLR and Photoshop; I ended up with what I think is a very good photo of my two bikes ('75 BMW R75/6 and '06 Ducati Multistrada 1000s) that you and your readers might like. The original is attached, and other sizes are at my flicker acct (under a Creative Commons license, so feel free to use what you like), here:
Cheers!

Here's the shanghaied Triumph...

And the original submittable.  Excellent Shot!

Edward Hessel of Louisville, KY sends in this beautiful (and beautifully photographed) bike.

He Writes:
I am really enjoying the diversity of moto's on your site.
Please find attached a couple of my 78' 900GTS Ducati, thanks and keep up the non- conformity.

A non-conformist huh?  Thanks.  I like that.

Yes. There's and SR4 under there.

Terra Mostro builds bikes like these with 695 Monsters. this guy wanted a bit more power so he had them build this thing. I imagine he succeeded!

Stock specs on and SR4S:
Horsepower: 117.0 @ 9750 rpm
Torque: 68.2 lb.-ft. @ 7500 rpm
Corrected 1/4-mile: 10.71 sec. @ 126.57 mph 0-60 mph 3.12 sec.
Top-gear roll-on: 3.32 sec.

Only one in existence and it's for sale over on Adventure Rider for just shy of $20K. And probably worth it!

I love this bike and I might include it on my "midlife crisis - must own" list except that when I sat on it the handlebars were so far away that I could barely see them. This bike is a serious reach. Probably worth the pain though just for the pleasure of looking at it.

I haven't done a lot of modern stuff lately. Not sure why. Reading these pages you might get the idea that I'm a bit of a vintage snob which is not true at all. Exhibit "A" below.

Found these on madadam desmo's gallery over on Picassa.  Fantastic Stuff!

Sigh... Desmoquattro to the left and Testastretta to the rear.

A "properly" worn classic.
